Scattered Matters 3/11/2026
I am 78 and 3/4 years old, and I have a therapist. I visit with her remotely. I live in the Piedmont, and she lives in the mountains. We have a great relationship and have been working on many things, and progress is being made in areas that are of definite importance to me. I have been officially diagnosed with ADD. I was pretty sure about that for a long time, but giving some of my behaviors an actual name helps me to “put it where it belongs.” I am establishing more routines. These help me to be more organized in my thinking and my accomplishments. The improvement in keeping order helps calm my anxiety. I’m encouraged by the changes.S
I am more aware than ever that it doesn’t matter what happens to us in life. What matters is what we tell ourselves about it.
