Miscellaneous Musings 3/11/2026

I am 78 and 3/4 years old, and I have a therapist. I visit with her remotely. I live in the Piedmont, and she lives in the mountains. We have a great relationship and have been working on a lot of things – and progress is being made in areas that are of definite importance to me. I have been officially diagnosed ADD. I was pretty sure about that for a long time, but giving some of my behaviors an actual name helps me to “put it where it belongs.” I am establishing more routines. These help me to be more organized – in my thinking, and my accomplishing. The order helps calm my anxiety. I’m encouraged by the changes.
I’m more aware than ever that it doesn’t matter what happens in our lives – what matters is what we tell ourselves about it!
